About College Tech Central
Welcome to the new College Tech Central Podcast. We are a short form, technology podcast aimed at college students and young professionals.  We create fun, informative content for students, by students.  It is no joke that we are live to harddrive, straight from the dormatories of Boston University.

While providing the weekly podcast, we also put out articles during the week addressing specific technologies as walk throughs or tutorials.  When it comes down to it, we’re here to help our community out as much as possible.  You can leave your feedback by getting in touch with us through the Contact Page or by calling 206.203.1877 or emailing the show at collegetechcentral@gmail.com.

About the Host
James Connors is 21 years old Junior at Boston University School of Management. He will graduate next year with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Finance and Management Information Systems (MIS).

He has worked with various on-campus information technology groups, interned with CampusIT in Dublin, Ireland, worked as the Network and Web Administrator for Generations Incorporated. This summer he looks forward to joining the Accenture team in the Boston area.

James has been running a podcast since mid-2007, the College Tech Central podcast. It’s a weekly show that helps make technology more accessible to college students and young professionals. Between shows, James posts helpful articles on particular technologies, websites, or tools that can make a college student’s life easier.

James has been active in the technology community from early high school years but it wasn’t until college that he discovered his passion for sharing his knowledge with others. Since then, he has been running tutorials for classmates and always helps friends recover those lost Word documents at odd hours of the night. Upon graduation, James intends to fuse his interests in technology and business together in order to find ways to make business better.

When not geeking out, James enjoys working in the outdoors. Since 2001, he has been an active member of the United States Air Force Auxiliary, Civil Air Patrol, where he is a Ground Team Leader for the local search and rescue team. James enjoys baseball, especially the Red Sox, watching college hockey, and much more.
